U <br />39 <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded by Mr. Etzler, made a motion to table Resolution 83-3. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Tabled <br />Resolution 83-4, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE <br />TO RETAIN THE SERVICES OF SUCH ASSISTANTS AS ARE NECESSARY TO CONDUCT AND <br />DOCUMENT AN INVENTORY OF MUNICIPAL ASSETS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." <br />Introduced by Mayor Robert G. Beebe. <br />Mr. Spellma.n,,.seconded by Mr. Carmen, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Mr. Busa.,.asked if there was any discussion. <br />There was none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Spellman, seconded by Mr. Etzler, ma.de a motion to adopt Resolution 83-4. <br />Mr. Busa asked if there were any comments. Mr. Busa asked Mr. Toth how many assistants he felt he would need. <br /> <br />Mr. Toth said so far, just one assistant, but he may require more later. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: None <br />? <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Mr. Toth requested authorization from.Couucil for payment of the Layton Roller <br />repair bill as it exceeds $5,000.00. <br />Resolution 83-5, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO THE EARL <br />IVES EQUIPMENT C0. IN THE AMOUNT OF FIVE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED NINETY SEVEN <br />DOLLARS ($5,197.00) FOR REPAIR OF THE LAYTON ROLLER AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY." Introduced.by Ma.yor Beebe and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Spellman, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended
