C <br />47 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Village of Mayf ield <br />March 21, 1983 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayf ield met in Regular Session on Monday, <br />March 21, 1983 at 8:26 p.m. in the Village Hall. Council President, Vince <br />J. Busa, presided. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Busa, Carmen, Etzler, Flynn, Spellman, Mrs. <br />. Bloom and Mrs. Hanus <br />Absent : None <br />Also Present Were . Messrs., Amendola, Feneli, Hovancsek, Toth, Chief <br />Stevens, Sgt. Prygo, and Firefighter Porter <br />OPEN PORTION <br />Mr. Bob Fetzer, 899 Beech Hill Road - said the estimated cost for paving Beech <br />Hill Road of $60.00 per lineal foot to be charged to the property owners on <br />Beech Hill is a ridiculous sum of money. He feels Council.should represent <br />their constituen.ts. He stated the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District is in <br />the process of updating their sewer system in the Hilltop area. He feels it <br />would be wise for the Village to maintain Beech Hill until the new sewer is put <br />in, and then pave the road. <br />Mr. Hovancsek explained the phases that must be completed prior to design of <br />the interceptor sewer Mr. Fetzer was referring to. He reported the Northeast <br />Ohio Sewer District anticipates it will probably be ten y'ears before Mayfield <br />Village will have the Hilltop interceptor. <br />Mr. Fetzer commented the anticipated length of time may change as members of <br />the Sewer Board change. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said the State of Ohio has a priority list that must be followed. <br />It contains several hundred projects and the Beech Hill project is towards the <br />middle of the list. <br />Mr. Etzler questioned if the sewer lines would run behind the homes. <br />Mrs. Alice Fetzer, 899 Beech Hill Road - said she understands the main trunk <br />line runs down the center of the roado <br />A woman resident in the audience said she would like to express thanks for the <br />stone put down on Beech Hill Road even though they did not roll it. She questioned <br />the cost for this. <br />6
