C 47 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL Village of Mayf ield March 21, 1983 The Council of the Village of Mayf ield met in Regular Session on Monday, March 21, 1983 at 8:26 p.m. in the Village Hall. Council President, Vince J. Busa, presided. Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Busa, Carmen, Etzler, Flynn, Spellman, Mrs. . Bloom and Mrs. Hanus Absent : None Also Present Were . Messrs., Amendola, Feneli, Hovancsek, Toth, Chief Stevens, Sgt. Prygo, and Firefighter Porter OPEN PORTION Mr. Bob Fetzer, 899 Beech Hill Road - said the estimated cost for paving Beech Hill Road of $60.00 per lineal foot to be charged to the property owners on Beech Hill is a ridiculous sum of money. He feels Council.should represent their constituen.ts. He stated the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District is in the process of updating their sewer system in the Hilltop area. He feels it would be wise for the Village to maintain Beech Hill until the new sewer is put in, and then pave the road. Mr. Hovancsek explained the phases that must be completed prior to design of the interceptor sewer Mr. Fetzer was referring to. He reported the Northeast Ohio Sewer District anticipates it will probably be ten y'ears before Mayfield Village will have the Hilltop interceptor. Mr. Fetzer commented the anticipated length of time may change as members of the Sewer Board change. Mr. Hovancsek said the State of Ohio has a priority list that must be followed. It contains several hundred projects and the Beech Hill project is towards the middle of the list. Mr. Etzler questioned if the sewer lines would run behind the homes. Mrs. Alice Fetzer, 899 Beech Hill Road - said she understands the main trunk line runs down the center of the roado A woman resident in the audience said she would like to express thanks for the stone put down on Beech Hill Road even though they did not roll it. She questioned the cost for this. 6
