<br />Community Room Committee - Mrs. Hanus said the committee is preparing for the <br />Village Garage Sale - April 9& 10. The Swap Meet is April 17. <br />Firemens Dependents Fund - Mr. Etzler reported that after researching this, <br />there is no need for a Firemens Dependents Fund. Mayfield Village volunteer <br />and part time firef ighters are already covered by P.E.R.S. and Workmans <br />Compensation and this is duplicate,coverage. He suggested Fire Chief Hejcl <br />write a letter to the Firemens Dependents Fund in Columbus advising them of <br />this. Mr. Feneli agreed and recommended this be done. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils -Mrs. Bloom said this months meeting was <br />cancelled. They will meet in April on the regularly scheduled date. <br />Cemetery - Mr. Etzler said there was no report. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Spellman said they discussed the creation of a Mayf ield Soccer <br />Club for adults. <br />Planning & Zoning Commission - PZr. Carmen said the Commission met March 7th <br />and recommended to Council the acceptance of the Julius Paris proposal. <br />Recreation - Mrs. Bloom said a Recreation questionnaire was prepared to be <br />sent with the April issue of the Voice of the Village. An adult Jazzercise <br />class is planned for May 6. The Commission is considering having a"Fun Run". <br />They are checking to see if it can be funded by local businesses. Softball <br />registration was last Wednesday and there were at least as ma.ny registrants <br />as last year. Mrs. Bloom noted the 1983 Committee appointments. The "Lunch <br />With the Easter Bunny" is this Saturday. The Recreation Board would like to <br />hire someone for the daily maintenance of the ball fields. They would like <br />to know how much money they have been appropriated for 1983. <br />Mr. Amendola asked Mrs. Bloom to compile a list of questions for him and he <br />will get back to the Recreation Committee. <br />Senior Citizen Commission on'Aging - t4r. Busa.asked Mrs. Mikula to report. <br />Mrs. Mikula reported the free cheese to be given away to Senior Citizens etc. <br />was scheduled for Tuesday, however it will not arrive until Wednesday. It <br />will be passed out from 12 noon to 6:00 p.m. in the Mayfield Heights Community <br />Room. She said the Travel-Log Program for the Senior Gentry scheduled for <br />this evening, was cancelled and will be postponed until a later date. She <br />thanked Village employees for their assist to the Commission on Aging. The <br />Police and Fire put on programs that the Commission felt were very beneficial. <br />Mr. Busa acknowledged Mayor Thomas Hughes of Highland Heights in the audience. <br />Mr. Busa said Council will recess for a 10 minute break at this time. <br />Council recessed at 9:15 p.m. <br />Council reconvened at 9:37 p.m. <br />? ?
