52 <br />Mr. Feneli said he and Mr. Amendola are looking into this and should have <br />a report for the next Caucus. <br />Viacom - 3% to Village - Mr. Carmen reported we received a letter from auditors <br />acknowledging the amount paid us by Viacom was correct. The money received was <br />put into the Road Repair Fund. <br />Mr. Feneli said there is now apparently a way on the petition of the <br />municipality that we can receive the 2% increase. Our ordinance states if <br />and when it.becomes.available Viacom will pay the amount to the Village. <br />Mr. Carmen said he has been researching the matter also and feels Viacom has <br />a different interpretation. <br />Discussion was held. <br />Mr. Feneli and Mr. Carmen to research the ma.tter further. If extra money is <br />entitled to the Village it will be received. <br />Red Cross Month - Proclamation - Mr. Busa read a copy of this proclama.tion, <br />proclaiming the month of March as "Red Cross Month". <br />Girl Scout Proclamation - Mr. Busa read a copy of this proclamation, proclaiming <br />Ma.rch 6- 12 "Girl Scout Week". <br />Mr. Busa asked Mr. Amendola if he and the Service Department could be available <br />Wednesday morning to help unload the cheese being delivered to the Mayfield <br />Heights Community Room for Senior Citizens and the needy. <br />Mr. Amendola will assist. <br />Ball Diamond #l - Drainage - Mr. Amendola reported the drainage pipe is ordered <br />and the slag is available. As soon as the weather permits they will rent a <br />trencher and the work may begin. , <br />Beech Hill and Beecher's Brook - Mr. Busa stated two resolutions declaring the <br />necessity of paving these streets were prepared by the Law Director. <br />Mr. Feneli said if Council adopts these resolutions the Clerk of Council will <br />then be required to notify, by certified ma.il, all of the affected property <br />owners. He will prepare a legal notice to be sent out indicating the procedure <br />to be followed. <br />Mr. Busa asked Mr. Hovancsek how long his estimated prices of assessment <br />would be correct. <br />Mr. Hovanc.sek said the estimate should be good through the bidding time <br />which should be the middle of this Spring. Discussion was held regarding the time length for paying the assessment and <br />the relief procedure offered.
