55 <br />Resolution 83-6, entitled; "A RESOLUTION IN OPPOSITION TO THE RATE INCREASE <br />REQUESTED BY THE OHIO BELL TELEPHONE CONTANY." Introduced by Mayor Beebe <br />and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Spellma.n, seconded by Mr. Etzler, made a motion to adopt Resolution 83-6. <br />Mr. Busa asked if there were any comments. <br />There were none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />LaConte Property - Mr. Feneli said he received a reply from their attorney <br />which he has not yet reviewed. He will update Council at the next Caucus. <br />SPAN Dues - Mr. Toth said the bill was received and the first and second half <br />will be paid. <br />Clean Up Ohio Day - Mr. Amendola said the State of Ohio has declared April 30 <br />"Clean Up Ohio Day". Mayf ield Village will participate by having an extra <br />pick up day on Saturday, April 30. Residents will be notified through an <br />article in the Voice of the Village that on the Wednesday prior to that weekend <br />the Service Department will pick up any useable item that could be sold at a <br />future garage sale. <br />Diversif ied Corp. - Mr. Feneli is working on collecting the taxes owed the <br />Village by this corporation and another corporation on Beta Drive. Mr. Busa <br />said Council feels every effort must be made to collect all money due. <br />Beecher's Brook Culvert at Wilson:Mills - Mr. Hovancsek said the Village received <br />a copy of the annual bridge inspection report from the County Engineer's Office. <br />There are problems with a settling sidewalk and the hand railings. Maintenance <br />of this culvert is the responsibility of the Village. He suggests the Village <br />correct both of these problems this year, at a cost probably under $1,000.00. <br />Mr. Amendola and Mr. Hovancsek will meet and report back to Council. <br />Resolution 83-9, entitled; "A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE AMERITRUCT COMPANY AS <br />A DEPOSITORY FOR ACTIVE FUNDS OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, FOR THE TWO YEAR PERIOD <br />CONIriENCING WITH JANUARY 1, 1983, AUTHORIZING A DEPOSITORY AGREEMENT WITH SAID <br />INSTITUTION AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Beebe and Council <br />as a Whole. <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded by Mrs. Bloom, made a motion to suspend the rules of _ <br />Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Mr. Busa asked if there were any comments. <br />There were none.
