Mr. Carmen had reviewed the requirements of other communities and <br />found Mayfield Village had very strict parking requirements. Therefore, he <br />suggested our parking requirements be changed from one space.per 100 square feet <br />for business offices to one space per 200 square feet and for doctor's offices; <br />from one space for 75 square feet to one space to 125 square.feet, as described <br />in the resolution prepared by Mr. Feneli. <br />Mr. Feneli distributed the resolution after reading a portion of it.. <br />Resolution 83-14, entitled; "A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO DR. <br />JEFFREY EADIE TO USE THE PREMISES LOCATED AT 865 SOM CENTER ROAD IN MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING A GENERAL DENTAL PRACTICE FOR SO <br />LONG AS DR. JEFFREY EADIE MAINTAINS A FULL-TIME GENERAL DENTAL PRACTICE ON THE <br />PREMISES, ESTABLISHING CERTAIN RESTRICTIONS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ISSUANCE OF <br />SAID PERMIT AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Beebe and Council <br />as a Whole. <br />Mr. Spellman, seconded by Mr. Etzler, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Mr. Busa asked if there were any comments. <br />There were none. <br />Ro11 Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Spellman, seconded by Mrs. Bloom, made a motion to adopt Resolution 83-14. <br />Mr. Busa asked if there was any discussion. <br />There was none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Recreation Committee - Mrs. Bloom reported that the Jazzercise Evening was. <br />very successful with 139 people attending. They are pursuing having a"Fun <br />Run" in September. They have approached some business in the Village to be <br />the sponsors which will cover the entire cost of the run. Runners must pay <br />a registration fee so a profit may be earned. <br />Mr. Carmen reported the Mayf ield School District will be closing two schools <br />in the very near future. He cited the plans being contemplated for use of <br />the buildings. However, there is still a significant amount of space that has <br />not been planned for.
