72 <br />Council agreed to hold a Council Board of Appeals Meeting at the June 6th <br />Caucus Meeting, at 8:00 p.m. At that time the Stoners would be given the <br />opportunity to present their request to Council explaining the reasons why <br />they feel they should be entitled the variance. Mr. Amendola to contact <br />Mr. Stoner. <br />Mr. Busa asked that Council recess for a short break at 9:15 p.m. <br />Council reconvened at 9:30 p.m. <br />Mr. Carmen said the Bike Path project has not been worked on for some time <br />and suggested the Special Projects Committee work on this project also. <br />Future plans are to extend the bike path to White Road but any funds <br />available will f irst be used for repair that has become necessary. <br />Council had no objections to the Special Projects Committee including the <br />bike path project. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Ordinance 83-11,. entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 1173a07(a) (1) (C) <br />AND 1183.05 (23) OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, PERTAINING <br />TO OFFSTREET PARKING REGULATIONS FOR OFFICE-LABORATORY DISTRICTS AND CORRECTING <br />THE OFF-STREET PARKING REGULATIONS FOR PRODUCTION-DISTRIBUTION DISTRICTS SO AS <br />TO HAVE THE TWO SECTIONS CONSISTENT, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced <br />by Councilman Fred N. Carmen. <br />Ordinance 83-11 was given first reading. <br />Parkview Golf Course - Mr. Feneli requested an Executive Session be held to <br />discuss this. <br />Industrial Park Street Sign Missing - Mr. Amendola reported he has written to <br />Julius Paris and Hilltop Realty asking for the status of the necessary sign <br />repairs and replacement. He has not yet received their replies. <br />Hospitalization Cost Increase - Council agreed this should be discussed in <br />Executive Session. ' <br />Mayor Hughes - Jail/Communications Proposal - Mayor Beebe has written Mayor <br />Hughes asking that he advise us of exactly what he is proposing. They plan <br />to have their jail facility completed this Fall and Mayor Seebe believes we <br />should consider that proposal first. <br />Resolution 83-12, entitled; "A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AN ASSESSMENT EQUALIZATION <br />BOARD.TO HEAR OBJECTIONS TO ESTIMATED ASSESSMENTS WITH RESPECT TO THE IMPROVEMENT <br />OF BEECH HILL ROAD BY HAVING IT RECONSTRUCTED AND PAVED AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." <br />Introduced by Mayor Beebe and Council as a Whole. <br />Mayor Beebe announced the three appointees to the Assessment Equalization <br />Board; Santo Basile, Harold Rassau, and Ben Reich.
