71 <br /> Mr. Feneli said he was contacted Friday by Richard Horvath because Mayfield <br /> Village is one of three Cuyahoga County municipalities.that have not yet <br /> signed the Water Service Agreement. Council has not passed.a Resolution <br /> indicating their intent.to enter into a contract with them. With Council's <br /> approval, Mr. Feneli would like to tell them that if the contract is in <br /> accordance with the terms and condition s of the settlement we participated <br /> in we would have no reason not to sign it. If there is something in the <br /> contract that is not in accordance with that, we may want to do something <br /> about it. He will prepare a resolution for the June meeting if the contract <br /> meets with his and.Councils approval. <br />Copies of the contract to be circulated to Council for their review. Mr. <br />Feneli will compare the contract with the results of the suit and forward <br />his analysis to Council. <br />Insurance Coverage for.Volunteer.Work Force - Mr. Busa asked if Council was <br />satisfied with the Law Director's report on this matter. <br />The report was satisfactory. <br />Collective Bargaining - S.B. 133 - Mrsa Bloom reported this bill was passed <br />by the Senate and is currently in the House in committee. It will probably <br />come to a vote in about two weeks. Then we will find out what changes were <br />made and how it will affect us. It will have to be approved again by the <br />Senate for the changes made. <br />Mayor Beebe said the 50 page document is available at his office to anyone <br />wishing to review it. <br />Village Property Inventory - Mr. Toth reported at the last Finance Committee <br />Meeting they reviewed.what inventory work.has been completed to date. He has <br />no set date for completion of this project. <br />Sign Variance Request at 819 SOM Center Road - The new Hardware Store owners <br />have requested permission to place a sign on the north side of their building <br />by the Shell Station. Mr. Amendola explained the Building Code and formula <br />for signs which would necessitate a variance be granted to the Hardware Store <br />if we wish to comply with their request for this sign. <br />Discussion was held. <br />Mr. Feneli asked 'if the Shell Station, as the adjoining property owner, had <br />been contacted for their opinion of the proposed sign. <br />Mr. Amendola said this type of request, where another owner is adjacent to <br />the property ma.king the request has never occurred. He advised Council that <br />if this variance is appxoved he may have the same request from other Village <br />businesses. <br />Council wishes to receive input from the Planning & Zoning Commission.
