84 <br />A Beechers Brook resident commented.,she.had wanted to speak but did not ask <br />since her husband had already spoken. She did not feel the procedure was fair. <br />Mr. Feneli commented the Beechers Brook meeting ran short of time. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said he submitted the specif ications and data for street striping <br />and asked if Council would approve the advertising of bids for this. <br />Discussion was held. <br />The striping would be done prior to the start of school in September. Some <br />areas will require a double coat of paint. Mr. Hovancsek said the closing <br />date to receive bids should be July 15. A contract could then be awarded at <br />the Regular Council Meeting in July. . <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Bloom, made a motion to authorize bids to be <br />advertised for street striping. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Bids to be Advertised <br />Mr. Busa said Council will recess for a short break at this time (9:40 p.m.). <br />Council reconvened at 9:55 p.m. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Finance Committee and'Safety'Se'rvice Coiumittee reports were not given due to <br />the absence of Chairman Spellman. <br />Architectural Review Bdard - Mr. Amendola said they met last Thursday and <br />approved the applications for two single family dwellings, two additions, a <br />porch enclosure, and the foundation plans for the Georgian Office Building. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola said a meeting is.scheduled for Tuesday night, <br />June 21, at 7:30 pom. They will be discussing a variance request for a lot <br />on Beechers Brook. <br />Community Room - Mrs. Hanus said she attended the June lst Community Room and <br />Village Days meetings. The room is being used for Village functions only at <br />this time, it is not yet available for private use. She said Nancy Plastine <br />reported $4,005.00 was earned from recent functions. This is not enough to <br />complete any major project as $5,000.00 would be needed. Coming events include <br />Home Days, August 6 and 7, and the Flea Market, August 13 and 14. <br />Firemens Dependents Fund - Mr. Etzler reported no meetings were necessary and <br />does not see the need for future meetings at this time. <br />Mr. Busa asked that this committee not be listed on future agendas.
