96 Mayor Beebe said if Council agrees, fie would like them to sign the letter to employees from the Mayor and Council explaining this ordinance and supplemental check. He would like the employees to have a copy of the letter and ordinance as quickly as possible so they have f irst-hand facts regarding this. Council.agreed this should be done as soon.as possible and all signed the letter (attached). Mr. Busa asked if there was any other business to come before Council. Mayor Beebe asked if Council approved of his suggested letter to Beta Drive residents regarding Beta Days. Discussion was held. Council approved of the letter, with one change to be made on the attached questionnaire to be returned to us. Council authorized Mayor Beebe to proceed with the Beta Days letter. The secretary will change the wording of the donation question to read; "I would like to make a contribution to Mayfield Village in appreciation for this special event." The letter and the questionnaire will be sent within the next few days. Discussion was held regarding the next Finance Meeting, which will be held July 18, at 7:30 p.m. to discuss the 1984 budget. A Public Hearing will precede the Council Meeting at 8:00 p.m. An Executive Session may be held following the Council r4eeting to discuss overtime. Mr. Carmen reported that several private businesses have expressed desire to contribute to the completion of the bike path providing a plaque listing their name is placed at the end of the path. The path would join a Metropark path that is being planned. There being no further business, Mr. Spellman, seconded by Mrs. Hanus, ma.de a motion to adjourn the meeting.
