96 <br />Mayor Beebe said if Council agrees, fie would like them to sign the letter to <br />employees from the Mayor and Council explaining this ordinance and supplemental <br />check. He would like the employees to have a copy of the letter and ordinance <br />as quickly as possible so they have f irst-hand facts regarding this. <br />Council.agreed this should be done as soon.as possible and all signed the <br />letter (attached). <br />Mr. Busa asked if there was any other business to come before Council. <br />Mayor Beebe asked if Council approved of his suggested letter to Beta Drive <br />residents regarding Beta Days. <br />Discussion was held. <br />Council approved of the letter, with one change to be made on the attached <br />questionnaire to be returned to us. <br />Council authorized Mayor Beebe to proceed with the Beta Days letter. The <br />secretary will change the wording of the donation question to read; "I would <br />like to make a contribution to Mayfield Village in appreciation for this <br />special event." The letter and the questionnaire will be sent within the <br />next few days. <br />Discussion was held regarding the next Finance Meeting, which will be held <br />July 18, at 7:30 p.m. to discuss the 1984 budget. A Public Hearing will <br />precede the Council Meeting at 8:00 p.m. An Executive Session may be held <br />following the Council r4eeting to discuss overtime. <br />Mr. Carmen reported that several private businesses have expressed desire to <br />contribute to the completion of the bike path providing a plaque listing their <br />name is placed at the end of the path.
