107 <br />Special Meeting of Council - June 30, 1983 - Mr. Spellman, seconded by Mr. <br />Flynn, made a motion to accept the minutes as written. <br />Roll Call: AYESo Al1 <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />MAYOR'S COMMENTS <br />Ma.yor Beebe had no comment. <br />COUNCIL PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS <br />Council Pzesident Busa had no comment. <br />Sgt. Ron Prygo was excused from tlie meeting at this time. (9:10 p.m.) <br />Mr. Amendola reported the Service Department is working on Worton Park sealing <br />the asphalt street. They are also repairing and re-asphalting portions of <br />Robley Lane. <br />Mr. Toth reported an actual physical count has been taken of.all departments <br />and we will begin with the General Building Fixed Assets. After that we will <br />determine the cost of the items. The inventory is coming along quite well. <br />Mr. Toth said, regarding the State Auditors Report, anytime Council would like <br />to meet.in Executive Session he will discuss this. He said Council must remember <br />the audit report is not pub lic record until it is released.by Columbus. <br />Council agreed to hold an Executive Session following the Special Council Meeting <br />July 25 to discuss this. The Finance Committee will also meet then. <br />Mr. Busa said Council will recess for a short break at this time (9:17 p.m.). <br />The meeting reconvened at 9:25 p.m. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Safety and Service - Mr. Spellma.n said the meeting was cancelled due to lack <br />of an agenda. He reminded Department Heads to contact the.committee if they <br />have items for discussion, and a meeting will be scheduled. <br />Finance - Mr. Spellma.n reported the 1984 budget was approved, which will be <br />taken to the County Auditors Office Wednesday. He recommendecl this be passed <br />by a resolution, in title only. <br />Resolution 83-18, entitled; "A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A TAX BUDGET FOR 1984 AS <br />ATTACHED HERETO." Introduced by the Mayor and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Spellma.n, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions.
