He_recommended <br />Council approve the donation of the train to a museum or someone who wi11 <br />refurbish it and keep it on display: - <br />Mr. Etzler said funds may be available in a couple of years for restoration. <br />He feels it is a unique and valuable item and the Village should keep it, . <br />especially since they would receive no monetary pro.fit from it. <br />Mrs. Bloom suggested if the train was donated to a museum it could be on the <br />condition that we would have the train once a year for Village Days. <br />Discussion was held. <br />Mr. Etzler will investigate the matter. <br />Parkview Golf Course Tax Waiver Request - Mr. Feneli had no report. <br />NEW BUSINESS Cuyahoga County Engineer.Letter re Wilson Mills Repair - Mayor Beebe said <br />Senator Lee Fisher is investigating the matter. He feels it is unfair NOACA <br />places us on a low priority. He is writing to the Ohio Department of Trans- <br />portation and Virgil Brown, Edward Feighan, and John Glenn, We were assured <br />Wilson Mills and SOM Center east to Richmond Road would be paved. Recently, <br />we received.a letter from Cuyahoga County Engineer Neff stating that because <br />we have not donated to NOACA these ro.ads were taken off of the list or are at <br />the.bottom of the list. <br />rirs. Bloom said.Senator Fisher will be writing a letter to the Ohio Department <br />of Transportation, a copy.willbe sent to rlayor Beebe. <br />Mr. Busa said he shares Mayor Beebe's views regarding NOACA. <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />Mr. Amendola asked if those.ordinances were going to be put on the November <br />ballot. <br />Mr. Feneli said there is not suff icient .time for them to go on the November <br />ballot, they will have until the Primary Election in the Spring. <br />Mrs. B1oom commended the Police and Rescue Squad for their.speed, ability, <br />and professionalism in coming to her family's aid over the weekend. <br />Mr. Etzler said there are still problems with the BeecYi Hill Pumping Station. <br />It broke down in May., June, and July. He feels the equipment in the station <br />is unsatisfactory, which causes, the frequent breakdowns. <br />Mayor Beebe said his.office was advised of the breakdowns, but agrees the <br />overall system is not what it should be.
