129 <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Auxiliary Police Unit Pres.entation - Mr. George Goley reported the Auxiliary, <br />Police have not held summer meetings. They plan to make a presentation of <br />the equipment they purchased for the Police Department soon. .. <br />North Aintree,and Be.ta Drive Entrance Signs - Re.placement - Mr. Amendola said <br />Hilltop advised him they are having difficulty getting the letter "A". They <br />are trying to convince them to replace all the letters on that wall. He <br />discussed the Beta Drive signs with Mr. Paris who plans to discuss this with <br />the Planning & Zoning Commission September 12. He will also discuss it.with <br />Council.if they are'also meeting September 12. <br />Council agreed that because of the Labor Day holiday,.they will hold their <br />Caueus on September 12. <br />Overtime Use - Council agreed to hold a separate meeting to discuss overtime <br />but did not schedule it. <br />Sutton.Insurance - Mayor Beebe said Mr. Sutton wi11 have information for Council <br />by the end of this week and suggested meeting with Council the week of the 22nd <br />to.discuss his findings. Council agreed Mr..Sutton should a.ttend the September <br />12 Caucus to make his presentation. <br />Assessment Equali2at'ion Board - Mr. Feneli said.he has nothing further to.report <br />until he receives the transcrip.t.,,He will.be requesting a Special Council <br />Meeting in September before the Regular Council Meeting.to pass legislation that <br />will be necessary to continue tlie process. Fire Chief's Re.quest for Recogni.tion - r1r: Feneli,.said he talked.to the Law <br />Director's Office for the City of South Euclid who were to have adopted <br />legislation for this. If such legislation exists, they said they would <br />forward a copy to him. <br />Inventory of Public Holdings = Mr._Toth reported just about everything has <br />been completed except the Mayor's Office which will be done soon. Tags and <br />inventory cards will be ordered and a set up format wi11 be given to the <br />Department Heads to maintain. The Finance Office will also have a file for <br />all departments. They hope to have the project completed by the end of the <br />year. <br />Mr. Toth stated the Finance Department will.require all tlepartments to submit <br />time sheets to them starting in September. •Als.o; all sick, vacation, and, <br />hoi,iday records will be maintained by the Finance Department. <br />Arco Monies Due & DICE Back Taxes - Mr. Feneli had no report, but should <br />have a report in September. <br />Euclid Beach Train Disposition - Mr. Busa.asked Council to make a decision. <br />Mayor Beebe said Sgt. Litman advise.d him of a conversation between former Police <br />Chief William Shortle and Beech Hill resident Mr.. Kirchner, who indicated if we <br />ever decided we did not want the train he would like it back. Mayor Beebe
