125 <br />Mr. Hovancsek explained in order to make any such changes, they must submit <br />topographic plans, etc. He would like to meet with the residents ha.v,ing problems <br />sometime this week. <br />Mr. Amendola asked that anyone having drainage problems give their.name.and <br />phone number to either him or Mr. Hovancsek and they will set up a meeting. <br />George.Goley, 865 Lander Road - said he is not one.of those affected but feels <br />they have reasonable concerns. He thinks they are entitled to a buffer zone <br />and Council would have more leverage in working out a compromise with the School <br />Board. <br />Mr. William Shaylor, Business Ma,nager for Mayfield Gity Schools, said a drawing <br />was sent out showing what they,plan to do. Anybody who had any concerns was then <br />asked to come forward. The only person they heard from at that time was Mr. <br />Jebutis, who he met with twice: Mr. Jebutis requested several things, one of <br />which to raise the 4 foot fence to 8 feet.. They plan to put buffer zones around <br />the parking lot and make it as_attractive as possible. They want to be-cooperative, <br />follow the law, and make the best use of the property. He would be happy to <br />answer any questions. <br />Mr. Busa suggested they agree on a date to discuss this and resolve the problems. <br />Mayor Beebe said Dr: Stabile agreed to•meet with them and asked that a delegate <br />call him to set up a meeting. . <br />Council recessed at 9:40.for a short break. <br />Council.reconvened at 9:55 p.m. <br />CONSIn.ERATION OF MINUTES <br />Public Hearing - Ju1y 18, 1983 - Mr. Spellman; seconded by Mr. Carmen, made a <br />motion to approve the minutes. <br />Roll Call: AYES: A11 Motion Carried. <br />NAYS: None Minutes Approved <br />Regular.Meeting of Council - July 18, 1983 - Mr. Spellman, secorided by Mrs. Hanus, <br />ma.de a motion to approve the minutes. <br />Roll Call: AYES: A11 Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None ? • Minutes Approved <br />Special Meeting of_Council -.7uly 25, 1983 - Mr..SpellFnan, seconded by Mrs. <br />Hanus, made a motion to approve the minutes.. • <br />Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Minutes Approved. <br />MAYOR' S COMMENTS <br />Mayor Beebe noted two recent deaths, Jack Adams, Planning and Zoning Chairman <br />Robert Schulte's son-in-law, and Chief Steven's father.
