Also, a property owner <br />had wished to purchase the back of his property to=form a straight line with <br />the other properties and understands this might be possible. <br />Mr. Goley said he should also have.a report on that by the next Council Meeting. <br />Sign Replacement/Repair - Mr. Amendola has checked wi.th a company who should be <br />able to get the letters needed. LJhen he finds out for sure they have the letters <br />he will contact Hilltop. Regarding the Beta letters, Mr. Paris is giving the <br />mat.ter consideration. <br />Sutton Insurance Report - Mr. Etzler said a meeting with Mr. Sutton was held <br />in the Mayor's Off ice. He gave Mr. Sutton a copy of an insurance proposal he <br />received and Mr. Sutton was to talk to the representative who submitted the <br />proposal as it was approximately $50,000.00 less annually than we are currently <br />paying. Council agreed the ma.tter should be pur•sued. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Hovancsek Report - Pre-Construction Conference - Upgrade I-271 - Mr. Hovancsek <br />said he attended the conference.but Mayfield Village was not directly involved. <br />Mr. Busa reminded Council of their $8.00 due for flowers sent. <br />Resolution.83-21, entitled; "A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING AND ACCEPTING THE <br />RECENT PAY INCREASE AWARDED BY THE MAYFIELD BOARD OF EDUCATION TO MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE POLICE OFFICERS SUPERVISING THE PARKING LOT AT MAYFIELD HIGH SCHOOL <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.." Introduced by Mayor Beebe and Council as a <br />Whole. <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded by Mrs. Hanus, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions.. <br />Mr. Busa asked if there were any comments. <br />There were none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded by Mr. Etzler, made a motion to adopt Resolution 83-21. <br />Mr. Busa asked if there was any discussion. <br />Mrs. Bloom asked how this resolution would affect our pay ordinance. <br />Mr. Toth explained it would not affect us except there will be 26? per hour <br />we pay to Worker`s Compensation that we will not be reimbursed. No sick time <br />hours are accrued for that service.
