148 <br />The sign company for Mr. Paris will be replacing the entire Beta Drive letters <br />to the entrance gates. <br />The Service Department plans to prepare the rafters and roof structure for <br />. the pavilion in the building during the winter for early spring erection. <br />Mr. Dennis Romanini of Wildwood Trail.has offered to put the roofing paper <br />and shingles on the pavilion as a donation as soon as we complete the roof. <br />Arrangements are being made to 'rent a generator to operate the lights at <br />the pumpkin sale. <br />Mr. Amendola will be on vacation October 27 through November 29th. The <br />Service Director and Dorothy Martin will attend.the Regular Council Meeting <br />in November. Arrangements have been made to cover inspections. Dorothy <br />will take care of arrangements and minutes for the Architectural Review Board, <br />Board of Appeals, and Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />Mr. Toth reported that Mr. Amendola had requested both bids for salt be <br />accepted to allow flexibility in ordering. This is acceptable with the Law <br />Director and Mr. Feneli will prepare legislation accepting these bids. <br />Mr. Toth said he attended a two-day program by Deloitte, Haskins, and Sel•ls <br />about computers and an O.M.L. conference in.Akron dealing with vehicle license <br />registration. He and Mr. Goley will be reviewing the zip code lists of all <br />Village streets to see that we are receiving our license tax. He asked the <br />audience to please be sure they list Mayfield Village as their address, even <br />if they have Gates Mills zip codes, when they get their license plates. If <br />Gates Mills is listed they would be receiving the tax instead of Mayfield Village. <br />Mr. Toth said he has completed interviews to replace Pat Minor's position who <br />will take the Assistant Finance Director position when Eloise Maynard retires. <br />He is awaiting confirmation from Mayor.Beebe before announcing the appointment. <br />Mr. Hovancsek - said the meeting with the Sewer District that was cancelled last <br />Friday has been rescheduled for 9:00 a.m. this Friday, October 21. He was <br />advised he will be receiving preliminary plans for the replacement of the <br />Bonnieview Holding Tank Dome next week. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Safety and Service - Mr. Spellman had no report. <br />Finance - Mr. Spellman said the Finance Committee met October 3rd. They <br />discussed the inventory progress and tagging of equipment. They reviewed <br />fund balances. The Village received a bond rating of A- from Moodys. <br />Architectural Review Board - Board of Appeals - There were no reports since <br />Mr. Amendola was absent. <br />
