173 <br />Chief Hejc1 extended holiday wishes and said the past twelve years have been <br />enjoyable-working for Mayor Beebe which is the longest he has worked for one <br />Mayor. <br />Sgt. Litman wished everyone Happy Holidays. <br />Mr.. Feneli said it has been an honor and a pleasure working with Mayor Beebe <br />and expressed holiday wishes to everyone. <br />Mr. Hovancsek wished.everyone.happy holidays. He wished Mayor Beebe a happy <br />retirement and the others leaving good luck in their future endeavors. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS There were no reports for the Safo-ty:-and:Setvice;'Finance, Architectural Review <br />Board, and the Board of.Appeals. <br />Community Room - Mrs. Hanus said Nancy Plastine.reported approximately $12,000 <br />was earned this year.towards the Community Room. We will be receiving a check <br />for $2,000 .for.the Turkey Raffle and Pumpkin Sa1e soon. She is proud of the <br />Committee and feels they did.well. She extended.holiday greetings to everyone <br />and said she hopes Mayor Beebe enjoys.his retirement time.Spent in..Florida and <br />here. <br />There were.no reports.tor t,ho'Hillt'r68t:C6u.ncil of'Councils, Cemetery, M.A.R.C., <br />and Planning and Zoning. <br />Recreation - Mayor Beebe said the Christmas Party held December 18 was nice. <br />A number of pictures with Santa were taken and he thanked Al Scaccis for <br />"being Santa.'-" <br />Commission on Aging -.Mr. Busa stated he was proud of the group and to have <br />served as a Council liaison to the committee. <br />Special Projects Committee - Mr. Carmen said, as Mayor Beebe mentioned, Mr. <br />Gross donated $1,700 towards our Community Room Fund. He hopes next year <br />Council will all.ow future sales on a quarterly basis since they benefit the <br />Village. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Ordinance 83-20, entitled;. "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 83-17 AND <br />ORDINANCE N0, 83-18 BY REPLACING PAR.AGRAPH C(4)(e)OF EXHIBIT I AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Council as a Who1e. <br />Mr. Etzler, seconded by Mr. Carmen, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three Separate occasions. <br />Mr. Busa asked if there were any comments. <br />There were none.
