L_ '" <br />D I <br />Council President Spellman stated that those subjects will be discussed this <br />year. He asked Mrs. Ruggles if money was available to begin the project. <br />Mrs. Ruggles asked how much money would be needed. <br />Mr. Amendola estimated $14,000.00 would cover bo.th the architectural.plans <br />for the community building and the remodeling of the Fire Department. <br />Mrs. Ruggles stated money would be available from the General Eund. <br />Mr. Amendola said if funds are available he would like the sanitary line put <br />in this Spring for the Community Building. He explained if the plans for the <br />Fire Department are made that same line can be adopted to take care.of that <br />building which would be more economical in the long run. <br />Mr. Etzler asked what the remodeling plans were for the Fire Department. <br />Mr. Amendola said Mr. Hejcl would be making that decision. <br />Mr. Amendola stated the Village Engineer has submitted a request that $55,000.00 <br />be provided for the resur'facing of roads. <br />Council President Spellman asked if funds have been appropriated for this. <br />Mrs. Ruggles stated at this time no funds have been appropriated, asking if <br />there would still be time to do.the resurfacing after July, depending upon <br />what the financial status is then. <br />Mr. Hovancsek explained the usual procedure is that in the Spring he, Mr. <br />Amendola and the Service Director look at the streets and ma.ke recommendations <br />on what they feel should be done. He said there has.not been anything done <br />in the past two years. He will be reporting their findings at the April meeting. <br />Mr. Busa stated many streets need attention; at least preventative maintenance. <br />Council President Spellma.n agreed with Mr. Busa and asked when the County is <br />going to start repair of Wilson Mills. <br />Mr. Hovancsek stated that hopefully, within the next thirty days Richmond <br />Heights will have a contract set up with us to do their portion of Wilson Mills <br />Road. <br />Council President Spellman asked when construction could be expected to start. <br />Mr. Hovancsek explained that construction would probabl.y not start until 1983. <br />Discussion was held regarding Beech Hill and Beecher's Brook. <br />Council agreed to put that suliject on the agenda for the March 15 meeting.
