F') <br />°c? :a <br />Mr. Feneli said he drafted this resolution today and caas not sure if the' <br />$2,500 amount that should not be exceeded for the services of the Portland <br />Cement Association was correct. He asked Council their recollection as to <br />the amount decided. <br />Mr. Busa questioned if this amount was high. <br />Mr..Feneli explained.this was for trial preparation and there is alot of <br />background work involved. ' <br />Discussion was held. <br />Mr. FeneTi stated he will.check iaith.Mr. Avery and suggested.this'be held up <br />until the next Council Meeting when the correct amount has been determined. <br />He said he would also check.if the figure included the.extra work to be done. <br />Council President Spellma.n stated the resolution would be given first reading <br />to show our support to the Portland Cement Association. ' <br />Ordinance 82-22 given first reading. <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />Mr. Amendola stated that Mayoi Beebe will be instructing the Traffic Officer <br />to prepare the specificati.oiis for the street striping, informa.tion to be <br />available to Gouncil in April. He said, at that:time, an.ordinance should <br />be prepared to place for bids so the painting could.start in May. <br />Mr. Amendola stated that he will be submitting a request to Mrs. Ruggle,s and <br />the Finance Committee for the payment of eight hours use of.a bulldozer <br />loader which he would like to.explain so there is no misunderstanding. He <br />clarified.that is a.cooperative deal with the County for the clearing of <br />Beechers Brook that if not taken care of would cause problems during Spring <br />storms. He said the cost would be approximat.ely $464.00, and it would be <br />done during the first week in April. <br />Mr. Busa suggested that Council:consider fencing the Arco.property to make it" <br />look more scenic and prohibit cars from going on the lawn. Ae said he under- <br />stands from Mrs. Ruggles.that suff icient funds might be available depending on <br />the cost, which he believes is around $1,000.00. <br />Council President Spellman agreed with Mr. Busa and-the ma.tter to be discussed <br />by the Finance Committee. <br />Council President Spellman stated that Council will recess to Executive Session <br />at this time and there will be "Closing Comments" when they return. <br />Council went into Executive Session at 10:10 p.m. <br />Council reconvened at 10:46 p.m.
