Council President.Spellma.n asked if there was any discussion regarding this ordinance. Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Bloom, made a motion to pass Ordinance 82-20. There was none. Roll Call: AYES: Al1 NAYS: None Motion Carried Ordinance Passed Ordinance 82-21, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF $26,300 OF BONDS OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FUNDS TO PAY THE PROPERTY OWNERS' PORTION, IN ANTICIPATION OF TIiE COLLECTION OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS HERETOFORE LEVIED, OF THE COST OF IMPROVING BETA DRIVE BETWEEN CERTAIN TERMINI BY CONSTRUCTING SIDEWALKS TOGETHER WITH ALL NECESSARY INCIDENTALS AND APPURTENANCES THERETO, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Councilman Vince J. Busa Council President Spellman stated this is a similar ordinance to.82-20. Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Bloom, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Bloom, made a motion to pass Ordinance 82-21. Council President Spellman asked if there were any comments for discussion regarding this ordinance. There were none. "Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Ordinance Passed Resolution 82-22, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RETENTION OF THE PORTLAND CEMENT ASSOCIATION AS AN EXPERT WITNESS IN PENDING LITIGATION." Introduced by the Mayor and Council as a Whole. Council President Spellman stated that he must amend the agenda in reference to a resolution authorizing the retention of the Portland Cemen.t Association as an expert witness in pending litigation. He explained this was in reference to Mayfield Vil.lage vs. Aintree North Developing Company. He stated this was discussed in Executive Session last week, and that he just received a copy of the resolution tonight. ?
