?J? <br />11 <br /> <br />Counc'il President Spellman stated the Coordinator would help the Senior <br />Citizen Commission on Aging to coordinate whatever programs they may have, <br />as the Recreation Coordinator does. <br />Mr. Busa agreed with Mr. Etzler that the Commission should choose their own <br />coordinator. <br />Council President Spellman stated he would assume that once the commission <br />is established that they would create their owri by-laws and rules and. <br />select their own chair person and secretary, etc. <br />Mr. Carmen said that should be included in 'the ordinance. He suggested the <br />ordinance be placed on second reading until it is amended and then.be put <br />on third reading at the next scheduled meeting of Council. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Carmen,.made a motion to table Ordinance 82-30. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinanca Tabled <br />Council President Spellman stated Ordinance 82-30 is on second reading. <br />The necessary changes will be made and it will be on the agenda for May 3rd. <br />Ordinance 82-29, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH COPPER <br />AND ASSOCIATES, INC. IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FOUR THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED <br />DOLLARS ($4,800.00) FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES TO BE RENDERED FOR THE <br />COMMUNITY CENTER AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.". Introduced.by the Ma.yor and <br />Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Hanus, seconded by Mr. Carmen, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to pass Ordinance 82-29, <br />Council President Spellman asked if there were any comments for discussion. <br />There were none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed
