110 <br />vials available to the residents. Mrs. Bloom showed samples of the ":Vials <br />of Life", small vials_that each household would keep their pertinent medical <br />information in. The vials are to be hung from a shelf in the refrigerator <br />and a sticker placed on the outside of the refrigerator indicates a"vial <br />of life" is inside. The approximate cost to supply a vial to each household <br />in the Village would be $300.00. They are still researching the cost of the <br />stickers. <br />Council thought the vials were a good idea and the project will be discussed <br />further after more information is received regarding the cost. <br />Finance - Mr. Etzler stated the Finance Committee met on April 19. The <br />Finance Committee recommends that top priority be placed on road repair. <br />They discussed the fencing of the Arco property, funds are available. He <br />said Mr. Amendola has.several trees available, the only cost to the Village <br />would be for the removal and replanting. <br />Mr. Busa said he discussed the transplant of these trees with Mr. Scaccia. <br />Mr. Scaccia feels that since the bottom branches of the Spruce trees were <br />removed they would not survive the transplant. <br />The matter to go back to the Finance Committee. <br />SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Community Room - Mrs. Hanus said <br />the sales <br />from the Village <br />Garage Sale <br />totalled $4,135.00, exceeding the amount so ld at last years sale.. She <br />thanked those committee members present for their hard work. She said <br />the Committee will be receiving a donation from the Village Cooks and <br />from the Swap Meet. She reminded everyone the Mother's Day Pancake <br />Breakfast is this Sunday, May 9. The next Community Room Meeting is this <br />Wednesday, May 5. <br />Ma.yor Beebe showed a poster with pictures taken a minute before the Garage <br />Sale opened, and a minute after. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Ordinance 82-30, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE ENACTING CHAPTER 147 OF THE <br />CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, CREATING A COMMISSION ON <br />AGING." Introduced by Council President Michael W. Spellman. <br />Council President Spellma.n stated this ordinance is on third reading, it <br />has been discussed and several corrections have been made. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Hanus, made a motion to pass Ordinance 82-30. <br />Council President Spellman asked if there were any comments for discussion. <br />
