?? ? ,,? 0 Mr. Etzler explained the problem of the road. Mr. Hovancsek has the specif ications for the repair. Mr. Carmen, seconded by Mr. Etzler, made a motion that we advertise for bids for the repair of Kenwood. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Bids to be Advertised Industrial Park Days (Beta) Mr. Carmen said this was discussed by the Planning and Zoning Commission. They voted 3 to 2 against thi.s and recommend Council now allow "Beta Days". Mr. Carmen said he was in favor of this sale as it was a"one-time" thing and since this is a period of recession. The problems the other members of the Commission foresaw was that it could be precedent setting,anci the industrial park owners would probably ask to hold another sale. They are concerned about the traffic for those two days and for those in the Industrial Park who reside there because they appreciate there being no retail sales there. He said it is up to Council to make the decision. If Council decides to allow the sale he feels a Committee should be created to work on the specif ic details. Mr. Carmen explained the sale would be just Saturday and Sunday, that the tentative "Village residents only day" to have been on Friday.had been eliminated, due to Friday being a work day, because of traffic problems etc. Mr. Etzler suggested the "residents only" sale be held on Friday night, and Council agreed this was a good ideao Mr. Carmen, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to authorize the negotiation to establish the terms and conditions of Industrial Days which would be detailed by a resolut:ion. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Industrial Days to be Established There being no further business before Council, Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Etzler, made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
