L d <br />There were none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mayor Beebe asked that Council make a decision r.egarding the employee <br />hospitalization. <br />The employee hospitalization plan to be discussed in Executive Session. <br />Mr. Feneli to prepare legislation for the increase in.the speed limit on <br />Beta Drive from 25 to 35 m.p.h. . <br />F <br />Mayox Beebe stated three more full-time f irefighters are needed as explained <br />in his letter to Council of July.14. <br />Mr. Busa commented additional f iref ighters should be ad,ded to reduce the <br />tremendous cost of overtime. <br />Mr. Etzler.said the Finance Committee was aware the money appropriated for <br />overtime would not.be enough at the time the appropriations were made. <br />Mr. Etzler commented he felt the Village needed to have a contract with the <br />f iref ighters stating they were required to stay with the Village a certain <br />length of time. <br />Discussion was held. <br />Mr. Feneli said the pay ordinance could incl.ude that if an employee left the <br />Village before a certain period of time they would have to reimburse the <br />Village for funds spent (such as clothing, schooling, etc.)o <br />Auxiliary Police Officers <br />Mrs. Bloom said she has been in discussion with Chief Stevens and additional <br />Auxiliary Police Off icers have not been replaced, as those who became Part <br />Time Police Off icers were formerly Auxiliary Off icers. <br />Discussion was held. <br />Mayor Beebe said there is a list dictating the complement of the Police force <br />which includes a certain number of full-time, part time and auxiliary off icers. <br />This matter to be discussed further after this list is made available to all <br />of Council. <br />Kenwood Road Repairs <br />Mrs. Bloom said it was determined that Kenwood was the street in most need of <br />repair.
