-?- a Ll <br />As the ordinance only runs through the end of the year it was decided it <br />could be amended next year if necessary. <br />Discussion was held regarding the clause the ordinance did not contain which <br />would make .the Clerk of Councils additional pay for Special Council Meetings <br />retroactive to the f irst of the year (instaed of July lst). <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded by Mr.. Etzler, made a motion to reconsider the motion <br />made. <br />Roll Call: AYESe All <br />NAYS: None <br />Mr. Etzler, seconded by Mr. Carmen, made a motion to amend Ordinance 82-51; <br />Section 2 to read -"The amendment herein pertaining to the compensation of <br />, the Finance Clerk shall be retroactive to July lst, 1582 and the amendment <br />herein pertaining to the compensation of the Clerk of Council shall be <br />retroactive to January lst, 1982." <br />Motion Carried <br />Motion to be Reconsidered <br /> <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance to be Amended <br /> <br />Mr. Etzler, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to pass Ordinance 82-51. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried. <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Ordinance 82-52, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF A <br />LAW DIRECTOR; ESTABLISHING TERMS, CONDITIONS AND COMPENSATION FOR SUCH <br />SERVICES; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by the Mayor and Council <br />as a Whole. <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Etzler, made a motion to pass Ordinance 82-52. <br />Council President Spellman asked if there were any comments for discussion.
