190 <br />Mr. Carmen stated, per a letter from Mr. Feneli regarding House Bill 48, <br />handicapped individuals are now authorized to obtain cards instead of being <br />required to have handicapped license plates. <br />He suggested this be brought up at Commission on Aging Meetings and included <br />in the Voice of the Village. <br />Mr. Feneli commented that our handicapped parking ordinance may have to be <br />amended. <br />Mr. Feneli said he has contacted the attorney for the Cotton case and hopes <br />to have information for Council by Friday. He will be sending this personal <br />and confidential as he needs an answer on it. <br />Mr. Etzler said he thought a motion was made to advertise for bids on a <br />police console at the last meeting and asked if it could be done now. <br />Mr. Etzler, seconded by Mr. Carmen, made a motion to advertise for bids for <br />a police consolea <br />Council President Spellman asked if there was any discussion. <br />There was none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Bids to be Advertised <br />Mr. Etzler said.he would like Council to be awa're that Mr. Hovancsek will be <br />preparing an estimate on curb drains for Kenwood. <br />Mr. Etzler questioned what happened to the $7,000.00 bill for road repairs <br />made by our Service Department that was sent to the City of Cleveland for <br />money due us since 1974. <br />Mr. Feneli said he received a reply from them <br />the bills under the contract in effect at that <br />those bills and then billed them back to us at <br />the ma.intenance portion of our water contract. <br />the former water agreement as he does not feel <br />could either make a claim or f ile suit. <br />stating if we had submitted <br />time, they would have paid <br />the end of the year under <br />He is checking his copy of <br />this is correct. He said we <br />Mr. Etzler asked for Mr. Amendola's input. <br />Mr. Amendola stated they had contacted the Water Department some time ago. <br />They never received a response from them and the bills accumulated. He will <br />have more bills to submit to them at the end of the year. <br />Mr. Hovancsek asked if there was still a maintenance charge per community <br />for maintaining the water mains in that community. The usual procedure is <br />that the maintenance charge is charged back to the Villagers as an annual <br />maintenance charge.
