r? r •_ <br />J <br />? <br />MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Village of Mayfield <br />September 7, 1982 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in Special Session on Tuesday, <br />September 7, 1982 at 7:20 p.m. in the Village Hall. Council President, <br />Michael W. Spellman, presided. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present: Mrs. Bloom, Mrs. Hanus, Messrs., Busa, Carmen, Etzler, <br />Flynn, Spellman ' <br />Absent : None ? <br />Also Present Were . Mayor Beebe, Messrs., Amendola, Avery, Feneli, Toth, <br />Chief Hejcl, Chief Stevens, Mrs. Ruggles <br />Mayor Beebe stated the three new full-time f iref ighters are present this <br />evening. <br />Mayor Beebe administered the Oath of Office to the following: William Crowley, <br />Kevin Horkan and John Panzero as full-time members of the Mayfield Village Fire <br />Department. <br />Council President Spellma.n stated Council will be going into Executive Session <br />to discuss several lengthy litigation matters. <br />There being no objections, Council went into Executive Session at 7:25 p.m. <br />Council reconvened at 8:47 p.m. <br />Council President-Spellman stated he would like Mayor Beebe to see about the <br />repair of the microphone system. <br />Resolution 82-73, entitled; "A RESOLUTION RATIFYING.THE ACTIONS OF THE MAYOR <br />AND COUNCIL AND ESTABLISHING AUGUST 27, 28, AND 29, 1982, AS "BETA DAYS" IN <br />THE MT. VERNON CAMPUS PARK, ESTABLISHING TERMS AND CONDITIONS THEREFOR, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by the Mayor and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr..Carmen, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requirinb a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Council President Spellman asked if there was any discussion. <br />There was none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended
