`L 0 6 <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Carmen, ma.de a motion to adopt Resolution 82-73. <br />Council President Spellman asked if there were any comments. <br />Mrs. Hanus stated she would like to clarify that the event has already taken <br />place, and she understands it was to be a"one time only" event. <br />Council President Spellma.n stated the resolution is for ratif ication of the <br />event. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Ordinance 82-63, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE ENACTING CHAPTER 945 OF THE CODIFIED <br />ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, ENTITLED "CABLE TELEVISION", PERTAINING <br />TO THE CONNECTION OF RESIDENTIAL DWELLINGS TO THE CABLE TELEVISION SYSTEM." <br />Council President Spellman stated that this ordinance, which was placed on <br />second reading August 17, will be discussed further by Mr. Amendola and Mr. <br />Feneli and placed on the agenda for September 20. <br />Senior Citizen Appointment <br />Council President Spellman stated that Mr. Jerry Strater resigned from the <br />Commission on Aging. <br />Mr. Busa stated that Mr. Strater did a marvelous job on the committee and asked <br />liim to reconsider his resignation. • <br />Mr. Jerry Strater, in the audience, declined. <br />Mr. Busa said he would like Council to consider Frances Kneier, 836 Beechers <br />Brook as his nomination to replace Mr. Strater on the Commission on Aging. Ms. <br />Kneier is a Registered Nurse at the University Hospital. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Bloom, made a motion to nominate Frances Kneier to <br />the Commission on Aging, term expiring December 31, 1984. <br />Council President Spellman asked if there were any comments. <br />Mr. Carmen asked if Frances Kneier is willing to accept the appointment. <br />Mrs. Mikula said she would be willing to accept. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Appointment Confirmed <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Frances Kneier to serve on the Commission on Aging, term expiring December 31, 1984.
