Resolution.82-75, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF THE SUM OF EIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500.00) FROM THE CONTINGENCY ACCOLTNT IN TI3E GENERAT• FUND TO THE COMMISSION ON AGING." Introduced by Council President, Michael W. Spellman.. Council President Spellman explained the balance of the $500.00 allocated to the Commission on Aging by Resolution 82-45 is $185.,00.. The Commission requested an additional $500.00 for anticipated expenses. Council President Spellman, seconded by Mrs. Hanus, made a motion to suspend, the rules of Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. Council President Spellma.n aslced if there was any discussion. There was none. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Rules Suspended Council President Spellma.n, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to adopt Resolution 82-75. Council 'President Spellman asked if there were any comrients. Mayor Beebe asked for a break down of where the money was spent. 'Mrs. Bloom said an itemized list of dollars spent was to have been given to Council. She said they have not received any minutes from the meetings,..and. they would appreciate.receiving this information. Mr. Busa asked that Council corisider this request for additional funds. He agreed Council should be provided with a summary of expenditures and.copies of minutes and said he will see to it they receive this. Mrs. Hanus said she understands the Commission on Aging is enjoying the different social functions planned and thinks the group will grow. She stated 23% of the Village are Senior Citizens. Mr. Etzler stated he felt this resolution should be Introduced by.the Mayor and Council as a Whole. Council President Spellman stated he had no objections'to changing the resolution to read "Introduced by the Mayor and Council as a Whole", and it will be changed.
