214 <br />Mr. Busa questioned the status of the 1983 employee wage evaluations. <br />Mr. Etzler said it was his understanding they would begin in October. <br />Council agreed the wage discussions would begin now. <br />Mr. George Goley - 865 Lander Road - said he would like Councils report on <br />"Beta Days" and asked what type of income was derived. He commented Council <br />accomplished alot at this meeting. He questioned what will be done about <br />re-advertising for the sale of the equipment not being used. He stated he <br />was unsure of the need for a public address system in the Council Chambers. <br />Other residents in the audience commented there_were others present who were <br />unable to hear clearly without.the system. <br />Mr. Carmen stated Beta Days generated approximately $2,000m00 towards the <br />Community Room in a three day period and he feels it was successful for the <br />Village. As far as he knows there were no problems with security or traffic. <br />He said Mr. Gross has asked to hold another sale before Thanksgiving. He <br />reported Council is not in favor of this but consideration may be given next <br />year. <br />Mrm Amendola stated he will open the Community Room building following this <br />meeting for anyone who would like to see it. <br />Mr. Etzler said, in reply to Mr. Goley's comments, he understood the equipment <br />mentioned was to be re-advertised. <br />There being no further comments, Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Etzler, made a <br />motion to adjourn the meeting. <br />There being no objections, the meeting adjourned at 9:52 p.m. <br />, ROBERT G.
