C?. r? c? <br />_J P? ? <br />Mr. Feneli stated in his opinion it would be worthwhile to make this settlement. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Resolution 82-83, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF TWO <br />HUNDRED FIFTY THREE DOLLARS TWENTY THREE CENTS ($253.23) TO JOSEPH A. <br />PALERMO AND VIOLET L. PALERMO AS REIMBURSEMENT FOR•PROPERTY TAX OVERPAYMENTS <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by the Mayor and Council as a Whole. <br />Council President Spellman asked Mr. Toth or Mr. Feneli to explain this resolution. <br />Mr. Feneli explained the Village agreed to sell approximately half of the property <br />they acquired through litigation at 596 SOM Center Road to Joseph and.Violot <br />Palermo in 1979. Because of an error made in the legal description of the <br />property included in the preparation of the warranty deed, the entire property <br />was transferred to the Palermos. The Palermos have been payin.g the real property <br />taxes on the entire parcel since 1979. The Palermos have executed a quit-claim <br />deed to the municipality. The Continental Title Company and the Palermos have <br />determined the Palermos have paid $253.23 for property taxes that should have <br />been paid by the Village. This resolution is for the Village to reimburse the <br />Palermos for these taxes. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs.. Bloor.i, made a motion to.suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Council President Spellman asked if there was any discussion. <br />There was none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Bloom, made a motion to adopt Resolution 82-83. <br />Council President Spellman asked if there was any discussion. <br />There was none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br /> <br /> <br />
