<br />Firemeris.Deperid&tts:gutd.-.Mr. Flynn said there was no report. <br />Hillcrest Council of Couticils - Council President Spellman said he reported <br />on their last meeting on November lst and their next meeting will be in <br />two weeks. <br />Cemetery - Mro Busa said there is no report. <br />M.A.R.C. - Council President Spellma.n said he attended their November 4th <br />meeting and received their monthly financial statement which he circulated <br />to Council. <br />Planning & Zoning - Mr. Carmen said the Commission discussed Julius Paris' <br />request for a parking variance. He wants.to use a section of one building <br />for medical off ices. The commission has many questions they would like <br />answered before ma.king their recommendation to Council. A list of questions <br />was prepared and sent to the Planning and Zoning..Commission members for <br />review and revision. They anticipate drafting a letter to Mr. Paris listing <br />their questions and asking that he attend the next Planning and Zoning Meeting <br />to answer their questions. At that time they hope to reach a decision and <br />make their recommendation to Council. <br />Recreation - Mrs. Hanus reported the Halloween Party was a great success. <br />There will.be a Christma.s Party on December 19. <br />Council President Spellman agreed the Halloween Party was very successful, <br />that he has never seen so many in attendance. <br />Senior Citizen Commissiori ori'Aging - Mr. Busa reported the Commission elected <br />their off icers as follows: <br />Ralph Weiss <br />Howard Schulz <br />Christine Casey <br />Frances Kneier <br />Virginia Porter <br />Vince Busa <br />Rita Mikula <br />Chairman <br />Vice Chairma.n <br />Secretary <br />Vice Secretary <br />Treasurer <br />Council Representative <br />Goordinator <br />He reported the two chairpersons for the card playing group are Catheririe <br />Mocny and Jane Utrhark. The bowlirig program is being chaired by Ralph Weiss <br />and the hikirig adventures are being chaired by Christine Casey. He said the <br />Commission is desirous that Council consider an appropriation in some amount <br />between now and January. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Fire Hydrant Bids <br />Council President Spellma.n stated the new specif ications have been prepared. <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded by Mrs. Bloom, made a motion to advertise for bids for <br />f ire hydrant repair and replacement.
