Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Bids to be Advertised Mr. Feneli reminded Council that they agreed that when the new specifications were prepared and the bids were to be advertised that the two,companies who previously bid on the repairs would be sent copies of the specifications. N.E.O.R.S.D. Council President Spellman said Mayor Beebe already reported on that. He asked if there were any other comments. Mayor Beebe said he will write a brief synopsis of the meeting. Mr. Etzler commented that Beech Hill resident Mr. Rash's attendance at the meeting was very meaningful to Mr. Corsi and the attorney from.the Sewer Board. He.would encourage o.ther residents to attend the December 6th meeting at 10 a.m. in the Mayor's Off ice. Resolution 82-90, entitled; "A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO KARL STRASSER." Introduced by the Mayor and Council as a Whole. Council President Spellman, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to adopt Resolution 82-90. Council President Spellma.n asked if there were any comments for discussion. Mr. Busa said Mr. Strasser did not resign, but quit and he is interested.in finding out why. Mayor Beebe said he received a letter of formal resignation from Karl Strasser. He had many meetings with him prior to that and had asked for reasons and Mr. Strasser gave none. Mayor Beebe said he thinks saying.that he quit is another way of saying he resigned. He said, officially, we have his resignation and that is all that is required. Mr. Busa said Mr. Strasser told him he quit because of problems he had.with the Administration. Mayor Beebe.said he was probably Karl's best friend in the organization and they got along well.
