I 20 4 <br />Mr. Busa said, regarding the correspondence from Chief Stevens about <br />Lyndhurst Municipal Court sentencing people to our jail, he would like <br />to know why. <br />Mr. Feneli explained the procedure. Time must be served in the jail where <br />the crime originated because the municipality receives the f ine. <br />Discussion was held. <br />Mr. Busa cited that in the event of crimes with sma.ll fines it would not be <br />feasible to house people in our jail because we would be losing money. <br />Mr. Feneli to research the matter and report to Council. <br />Mrs. Bloom commented the packets have contained.information from the Commission <br />on Aging and she is glad to see we have an active Commission. However, a few <br />months ago she requested Council be given copies of the minutes from their <br />meetings which have not been received as yet. She said Council receives the <br />minutes of all other commissions and should also receive minutes from the <br />Commission on Aging. <br />Mr. Busa agreed with Mrs. Bloom and apologized. As Council liason for the <br />Commission on Aging, he will see that Council receives the minutes. . <br />Council went into Executive Session at 9:55 p.m. <br />Council reconvened at 11:44 p.m. <br />There being no further business, Mr. Busa, seconded by Council President <br />Spellman, made a motion to adjourn the meeting. <br />There being no objections, the meeting adjourned at 11:45 p.m, <br />.' <br />MAYQ&,-:Z0-BERT G.
