;J <br />Mr. Gould said he would hesitate to confirm that. <br />Mr. Carmen asked if Mr. Goulcl had testified that the one space per 75 square <br />feet was reasonable at that time. <br />Mr. Gould said he believed he did, but would again hesitate to confirm that <br />as he has not ma.de any prior study of inedical use in those buildings. <br />Mr. Paris asked Mr. Gould if it was only speculation as to whether or not a <br />clinic operation would generate more or less traffic than a regular medical <br />office building. <br />Mr. Gould said yes. <br />Mr. Bartunek said he would like to introduce la through li, the plats of the <br />empty parking lot, Exhibit 2, the summary of parking spaces available, Exhibit <br />3, Mr. Simon's report and Exhibit 4abc, Mr, Gould's report. <br />Mr. Bartunek said he be],ieves they.come,under the 75 to 1 ratio presently and <br />qualify, but want, to,..get our approval„so they don't get into unanticipated <br />litigation. He said the standa-rds of l.to_75 is unconstitutional and bears <br />no reasonable relationshin to public health, welfare, safety or morals of <br />this community. He said that is a-standard of attest we might have to meet <br />if their application is turned down. He thanked everyone for their consideration. <br />Mr. Feneli asked if this request was specifically for an amendment to the <br />previous pazking facility for.3,100 square feet in Building C to be used as a <br />medical facility. <br />Mr. Bartunek said that is correct at this time. If there were to be further <br />expansion of any medical useage an application would be giyen to Council for <br />their consideration. They understand the variance would depend on the existing <br />situation at that time. <br />Mr. Carmen said the last time Mr..Bartunek came before Planning and Zoning Mr. <br />Paris was asked whether or not he was willing to guarantee that there would <br />never be more than three doctors in.his facility at any given time and Mr. <br />Paris said he would have to give that some thought. He questioned if they had <br />an answer at this time. <br />Mr. Bartunek said he would not permit Mr. Paris to make such a guarantee. <br />Council President Spellman asked if there were any other questions from Council. <br />There were no further questions. <br />Mr. Bartunek left his exhibits for Council to review.. <br />Council President Spellman stated _Couiicil wi7_l..recess' for .five .minutes before <br />continuing with the Regular Meeting of Council. <br />There beingno objectioris, Council recessed at 9:00 p.m.
