? <br />Wilson Mills Repaving (Cont.) <br />Mr. Etzler asked if a complete repaving job was planned, or just piecemeal. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said that according to the plan they are working on (which has. <br />been approved by the State), the pavement will be removed and replaced from <br />Joyce Road east to SOM Center Road with a 9" reinforced concrete pavement, <br />58 feet wide. From Joyce Road westerly, it will stay at a 54 foot wide <br />pavement with the bad sections of concrete removed and replaced with concrete <br />base; then the entire road surtace would be resurfaced with asphalt. <br />Chief Stevens asked if the road could be widened to make an additional storage <br />lane for the Front Row traffic. <br />Mr. Hovancsek s.aid he will be bringing that subject up at the meeting this <br />week. • <br />Hilltop Interceptor Sewer - Mr. Hovancsek said he has not received any further <br />information since the last memo to the Mayors that he received a copy of. <br />Diversified Back Taxes - Mr. Feneli said that while the defendant admits owing <br />the tax money, their attorney has advised him that we will.not agree to a time <br />period in which to pay the settlement. Mr.-Feneli said he could not accept <br />this and therefore, has filed a mo.tion for a summary judgment. He feels the <br />judge will.grant his motion. A pre-trial is scheduled for the 30th. <br />Lander Traffic Signal - Chief Stevens explained the problem with the signal. <br />Highland Heights is.in charge of that.signal and they have ordered replacement <br />parts that should correct the problem. • <br />Motion to Approve Mayor Carmen's 1985 Committee Appointments <br />Mr. Etzler said this motion is for members of various committees; several <br />members were sworn in at the Organizational Meeting. <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mrs. Bloom, made a motion to approve the Mayor's <br />appointments. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Motion Carried <br />Appointments Confirmed <br />NOACA BIKE PATH GRANT - Mayor Carmen said he has not received any further <br />information from them. <br />Mr. Etzler explained the Village has received tentative approval from the <br />State on this. -
