55 <br />Cemetery (Con't) <br />Mr. Goley stated that a new sexton has been hired; Don Lawrence. <br />Mr. Goley requested thatif any.council members receive comPlaints that <br />they advise him. He will investigate the matter personally. There are <br />many dead trees on the property. The sexton will try to remove what he <br />can, but some may require professional help; which will mean additional <br />funds. <br />Commission on Aging - Mr. Etzler noted upcoming events. The Commission <br />will be providing income tax service in 1986 to Village residents. <br />Finance - Mrs. Bloom said they met earlier._this evening and reviewed the <br />reports prepared by the Finance Director on department spending and <br />revenues. These reports will hopefully be prepared on a monthly basis in <br />th e future. T.he policy and procedure rules need to be written down for <br />future use. The budget schedule for review of the budget will be next <br />month. Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mrs. Bloom said they did not meet last month. <br /> <br />M.A.R.C. Mr. Etzler said they met last,week. They have decided to <br />re-evaluate enrollment in worker's compensation and to re-evaluatethe <br />bus program for M.A.R.C. plays. <br />Planning & Zoning - Mr. Basile said an application for occupancy and a <br />lot split was approved. The Commission removed Mr. Milstein's proposal <br />from the agenda since he hasn't attended the scheduled meetings. (See <br />P& Z minutes of June. 3) <br />Recreation - Mrs. Bloom said softball season has started and the:Summer' <br />Playground Program will begin soon. <br />Safety and Service - Pir. Basile said he will report on the meeting held <br />earlier tis evening. at the next Council.meeting. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />D.I.C.E. Corp. Back Taxes.- Mr. Feneli said he contacted the attorney on <br />June 5 who promised to submit a proposal to pay off the debt by the end of <br />this month. <br />Lighting - Worton Park - Mayor Carmen said that Mr. Hovancsek has requested <br />proposals from C.E.I. We have not received them yet, but expect to have <br />them for theiaext Council Caucus. <br />Meeting With Highland Heights Concerning Traffic Problems - Mr. Etzler said <br />the Highland Heights Council voted down the access road. <br />Mayor Carmen said he has contact.their Council Yresident because we_would <br />still like to meet with'them to disucss Front Row traffic problems. Their <br />Council President has promised to get back to us after their next council <br />meeting with information regarding the scheduling of a meeting.
