OLD BUSINESS Federal Grant for Bilce Path Mayor Carmen said the Federal Grant for the Bike Path was approved for 100% funding. He has instructed the Engineer to begin preparation of the plans. As soon as the plans are in place, work will begin. Mr. Hovancsek suggested that the Village send a letter to the Department of Natural Resources indicating that we are withdrawing our request for funding since we have received this grar, t and thank'ing t:hem `f.ar their? of=fer: ?Mr. Etzler noted the bike path will be extended from the cemetery to the village 'line . Lighting Worton Park - Mr. Etzler said a motion is necessary to authorize the Mayor to sign the application for additional lighting. , Mr. Goley, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to authorize Mayor Carmen to sign the CEZ application for lighting. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Authorization Given Street Repairs - Mayor Carmen stated the.street repairs are on schedule and he hopes they,will.all be completed within the next 60 days. Open Well - Beech Hill Woods - Mayor Carmen said that during their search for a lost child several weeks ago they`found an open well tfiat was about 30" - 40" in diameter. When they went back to locate the wel1, they were unable to find it. They found another open well and had it fenced in, but still have been unsuccessful in locating the first well. It could be dangerous and they will continue to look for it. Drainage Problem - Wilson Mi11s Resident - Mr. Flynn said he talked to P4r. ' AmendoTa about this problem and Mr. Amendola will be contacting the resident to give her the name of contractors who would be able to perform the necessary work. He will report on'this at the next meeting. Schedule Meeting for Interviews and Appointment of Vacant Council Position Mr. Etzler said ther will be a Special Council Meeting Friday, July 19, 1985, at 7 p.m. for this purpose. Michelle Cleaners - Mr. Feneli said he has talked to the owner who does not plan to remove the sign. Mr. Feneli has been authorized to seek an injunctive relief to have the sign removed. He will have more information tomorrow. D.I.C.E - Mr. Feneli said he talked to.Mr. Santiemmo last week. He received a list•ing of debts owed by Mr. Santiemmo totaling approximately two million dollars. Mayfield Village is pretty high on the list of debts to be paid. He will proceed with the collection process and keep Coucnil informed of his progress.
