<br /> <br /> <br />Mr.'Goley, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion that Council accept the <br />principal amount due, $6,817.48 for back taxes from D.I.C.E. Corporation. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS : , None . <br />Motion Carried <br />Mr. Feneli reported that he rec.eived notification today that the Court of <br />Common Pleas received the record regarding the S.O.M. Center Road zoning <br />litigation. We.should be.receiving an agreement shortly. He noted the <br />ordinance from NIr. Orkin to assist with this case was included on the agenda. <br />Drainage - Whitehaven and Aintree North - Mayor Carmen said an agreement <br />has been entered into between Whitehaven Cemetery and Aintree North to resolve <br />their difficulties. The agreement is expressly between those.two parties and <br />does not involve the Village. <br />Sign - Georgian Center - Mayor Carmen said that based upon the fact that there <br />are other signs in the Village similar.to the Georgian Center sign, they <br />determined that they have no recourse and will not pursue the matter. <br />Transformer - Aintree North - Mayor Carmen said he has recently signed the <br />letter which authorized the removal of the transformers that wexe temporarily <br />placed, so this matter has been talcen care of. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Second Reading ot Ordinance 85-16, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE ENACTING CHAPTER <br />1185 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, PERTAINIIQG TO <br />SIGNS, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT THEREWITH AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY," Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. (First <br />Reading given 8/26/85.) <br />Ordinance 85-16 was given second reading. <br />Second Reading of Resolution 85-34, entitled; "A RESOLUTIODI AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR TO TRANSFER THE 9NTIQUE HEARSE TO THE I4AYFIELD TOWNSHIP HISTORICAL <br />SOCIETY UNDER CERTAIN TERMS AND CONDIT.IONS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." <br />Introduced,by Mayor Carmen and Council. (First Reading 6/17/85.) <br />Mr. Goley, seconded by.Mr. Basile, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Basile; seconded by Mr. Go1ey, made a motion to adopt Resolution 85-34.
