D <br />Organizational Council Meetirig - January 3, 1984 - Mrs. Bloom, seconded by <br />Mr. Basile, made a motion to approve the minutes as written. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Minutes Approved • <br />COMMENTS FROM MAYOR CARMEN <br />Mayor Carmen said three members to the Citizen's Advisory Board were present <br />to be sworn in. He administered the Oath of Office to the following: Jane <br />Petschauer, David Petschauer, and Ben Reich. <br />Mayor Carmen said there are certain zoning ordinances that Mr. Amendola has - <br />requested be put on the May ballot so they can be incl.uded in the recodification <br />of the codified ordinances to be done soon. <br />Council agreed to discuss these at the next Caucus so a vote could be taken <br />at the next regular meeting. <br />Mayor Carmen said he tal.ked to School Superintendent Bob Stabile regarding <br />the reimbursement to the Village for services rendered by its Police Officers <br />for supervising the parking lot at Mayfield High School. Mr..Stabile said <br />the Village should state in a letter to the School Board they would like <br />reimbursement of:the employer pension for the entire year. Mayor Carmen <br />said he sent this request to the Board of Education and Mr. Stabile advised <br />him it should be acted on at the next School Board Meeting. <br />Mayor Carmen requested a short Executive Session follow this meeting.. <br />COMMENTS FROM COUNCIL PRESIDENT ETZLER <br />Mr. Etzler had no comments. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS <br />Mr. Toth thanked everyone for all that was done regarding the death of his <br />father. He reported the monthly statement for December should be completed <br />soon and.everything should be on the budget by the first week of February. <br />1984 COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS <br />Mr. Etzler noted the assignments as £ollows: <br />Firemen's Dependents Fund <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils <br />M:A.R.C. <br />Planning and Zoning <br />Safety and Service <br />Finance <br />Commission on Aging <br />Cemetery <br />Insurance Committee <br />Flynn; Etzler <br />Bloom; Alternate, Goley <br />Goley; Alternate, B1oom <br />Basile; Alternate, Etzler <br />Flynn, Goley, Basile; Al:ternate, Etzler <br />Bloom, Etzler, Flynn; Alternate, Goley <br />Etzler; Alternate, Basile <br />Etzler <br />All <br /> <br /> <br />
