9 <br />I <br />F 1 <br />I <br />L J <br />OLD BUSIN?SS <br />Beech Hill Pumping Station--Mr. Hovan.csek said he fpwar.ded the report he <br />received from the Sewer Board to Council which contains the latest update. <br />Beech Hill As.sessment Equalization Board - Mr. Etzler asked Council to make <br />the decision either to accept or reject the report of the Assessment <br />Equalization Board. <br />Resolution 84-5, entitled; "A RESOLUTION.APPROVING THE REPORT OF THE ASSESSMENT <br />EQUALIZATION BOARD REGARDING.THE ESTIMATED ASSESSMENTS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF. <br />BEECH HILL ROAD BY HAVING IT RECONSTRUCTED AND PAVED AND bECLARING AN EMERGENCY." <br />Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Bloom, seconded by Mr. Goley, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules 5uspended <br />Mrs. Bloom, seconded by Mx. Etzler, made a motion to adopt Resolution 84-5. <br />Mr. Etzler asked if there was any discussion. <br />Discussion was held. <br />It was the feeling of al1 Council members that the 3/4 assessment on the corner <br />lots made them.hesitant to agree with the report. However, in lieu of the time <br />and expense involved in appa'inting a new Board, they felt it.was in the best interest of alI to ap.prove the report. <br />Roll Call; AYES: Messrs., Etzler, F1ynn, Goley, arid Mrs. Bloom. <br />NAYS: None <br />?I <br />? <br />ABSTAIN: Mr. Basile Motibn Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Resolution 83-21, entitled; "A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING AND ACCEPTING THE RECENT <br />PAY INCREASE AWARDED BY THE MAYFIELD BOARD OF EDUCATION TO MAYFIELD VILLAGE <br />POLICE OEFICERS SUPERVISING THE PARKING LOT AT MAYFIELD HIGH SCHOOL AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY."
