is <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />D.I.C.E. -$8,000 Taxes Owed Village - Mr. Feneli said R.I.T.A. has begun <br />the paperwork to file a complaint which now must be filed in the Common <br />Pleas Court because it substantially exceeds $8,000. He wiii assist in <br />expediting the matter. <br />Michelle Cleaners Neon Sign - Mr. Amendola said he received a letter from <br />the President of the Company stating that the lights on the sign would be <br />turned off around 7 p.m. <br />Resolution 83-21, entitled; "A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING THE RECENT PAY INCREASE <br />AWARDED BY THE MAYFIELD BOARD OF EDUCATION TO MAYFIELD VILLAGE POLICE OFFICERS <br />SUPERVISING THE PARKING LOT AT MAYFIELD HIGH SCHOOL AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." <br />Introduced by the Mayor and Council as a Whole. (Second Reading 2-16). <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Goley, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: None Motion Cazried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Bloom, seconded by Mr.. Goley, made a motion to adopt Resolution 83-21. <br />Mr. Etzler asked if there was any discussion. <br />There was none. <br />Rol1 Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Appointment of a Cable Representative from Council - Mr. Etzler said if <br />there were no objections, he would like to appoint Mr. Goley. There being <br />no objections, Mr. Goley is the Cable Representative from Council. <br />Mr. Goley said, regarding the meeting to take place in the City of Shaker <br />Heights, he found the meeting was not to discuss franchasing, so did not attend. <br />Mayor Carmen.said he will be forwarding information to Counc.il regarding an <br />organization that formed to discuss Viacom cable franchises. <br />Regional Planning Dues - Mr: Etzler said these have not been paid in the past <br />and asked Council their opinion. <br />Mrs. Bloom, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion that Regional Planning dues <br />not be paid.
