22 <br />Ordinance 84-14, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 1153.02(g) AND <br />1173.03(a)(1)(C), OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF NfAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, SO <br />AS TO PROHIBIT EATING ESTABLISHMENTS WITH DRIVE-THRU WINDOW SERVICE, <br />SUBMITTING THE SAME TO THE ELECTORS OF THE MUNICIPALITY AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a GThole. <br />Ordinance 84-14 was given first reading. <br />Resolution 84-6, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE <br />TO PAY THE NORTHEAST OHIO AREAWIDE COORDINATING AGENCY THE SUM OF THREE <br />THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($3,173.00) REPRESENTING DUES FOR MAYFIELD VILLAGE <br />TO SAID ORGANIZATION FOR THE YEARS 1976 THROUGH 1984 AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Bloom, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasinns. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Bas.ile, seconded by Mrs. Bloom, made a motion to pass Resolution 84-6. <br />Mr. Etzler asked if there was any discussion. <br />There was none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />Mr. Goley commented he was contacted by another person on Worton Park who <br />was concerned about Progressive purchasing several homes on Worton Park. <br />The homeowners on Worton Park are concerned their area is going commercial. <br />Mayor Carmen said a letter to these residents will be sent soon to reassure <br />them that is not the case. ' <br />Mr. Flynn asked about tlie boundaries involved between Progressive and <br />residential property: - <br />Mr. Amendola explained the resolution that stipulates the buffer zone and <br />other regulations between Progressive and the Village. <br />Mayor.Carmen reported the Commission on Aging recently purchased a 19" color <br />television for the Community Room.
