2f' <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />March 19, 1984 <br />The Council of the Village ot Mayfield met in Regular Session on Monday, <br />March 19, 1984 at 8:08 p.m. in the Village Hall. Council President, <br />Richard C. Etzler, presided. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present: Mrs. Bloom, Messrs., Basile, Etzler, Flynn, and Go1ey <br />Absent : None <br /> <br />Also Present Were . Mayor Carmen, Mr. Amendola, Mr. Hovancsek, Mr. Toth, <br />Chief Hejcl, and Chief Stevens <br />OPEN PORTION <br />Mr. Bill Marquardt, 6698 Wildwood Trail, said at the last Council Meeting he <br />was advised there would be.a meeting prior to this Council Meeting to go over <br />the.alternatives on the paving problem. No meeting was he1.d. <br />Mr. Etzler said the matter is still in litigation and it has not been <br />appropriate to discuss it with the residents yet. <br />Mayor Carmeri.explained we are evaluating'our legal position and we should have <br />an update in.two weeks. A meeting.will be held with,the residen.ts before any <br />work is started. <br />Harold Rassau, 513 Zorn Lane, read a letter from a Village employee thanking <br />Mayor Carmen and his wife for their assistance with tYce many phone calls due <br />to the "water crisis" Saturday. <br />Mayor Carmen extended his•thanks to the Police, Fire, and Service Departments <br />who al.so handled many calls.. Also, to.the.residents for their patience and <br />understanding of the problem. <br />Joe Skoda, 915 Aintree Park Drive- said the traffic light at Heinens should <br />be set to take care of the traffic when the store is open, only. It creates <br />problems by working at other times. He.asked that something be done. <br />Mr. Etzler.explained the timing of the light is tied in with the l.ight at <br />Wilson Mi11s.:.. <br />Mr. Hovancsek will discuss the problem with the Police Department and Traffic <br />Control Products.
