28°
Mrs. Brocker, South Woodlane - asked that consideration be given to placing
a traffic light at the end of Worton Park Drive to avoid accidents. Worton
Park residents.experience traffic problems day to day, morning and night,
which are compounded by Front Row Theater traffic.
Mayor Carmen said they are aware of the Front Row Theater traffic problem
and have been in contact with Highland Heights trying to resolve the situation.
It will be studied further and the residents will be advised when a solution
is found.
Joan Pumphrey - 893 Beech Hill Road - said the temporary repairs that were
to be made on Beech Hill have not been made. She was displeased because the
Service Department told her it was not done because of the weather. She felt
it could have been done because there have been several days of nice weather.
Mr. Etzler explained Council had authorized an expenditure of up to $.1,000
for temporary maintenance on Beech Hill Road.
Mayor Carmen said the work wi11 be done as soon as the weather permits, other-
wise the effort would be in vain.
Lou Davis - 1020 Worton Park - thanked Mr. Amendola for the letter he circulated
regarding barking dogs. He is very much intexested in Ordinance 84-11 that was
on the February agenda.
Mr. Etzler said we have a present ordinance regarding dogs, including barking,
and damage to property, etc. The Police Department will be happy to enforce
it.
Mayor Carmen read a section of Ordinance 84-11 which pertained to these problems
and added.that the Village is considering the hire of a part time animal warden
who would assist in these problems.
Beverly Berliri - North Berkley Square - feels there is a need for a Post Office
Sub-Station in Mayfield Village.
Mayor Carmen-said a letter from another resident was received with this request.
He also sees the need and will be pursuing the matter. He will be sending a
letter to our Federal Representatives.
CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
Regular Meeting of Council - February 20 - Mr. Basile, seconded by Mrs. Bloom,
made a motion to approve the minutes as written.
Roll Call: AYES: All
Motion Carried
NAYS: None Minutes Approved
Special Meeting of Council - March 7- Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mrs. Bloom,
made a motion to approve the minutes as written.
Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried
NAYS: None Minutes Approved
