30 <br />Chief Stevens thanked Mayor Carmen and his wife Karen for their assistance <br />during the water crisis Saturday. He also assisted with the calls. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola said there was no requirement for <br />a meeting this month. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola said there was no requirement for a meeting <br />this month. <br />Commission on Aging - Mr. Etzler said there was no meeting last month due to <br />bad weather. On March 29 the Commission will have a representative presenting <br />tax information. Any seniors wishing to bring a son or daughter are welcome <br />to do so. The Commission on Aging purchased a 19" color television set and <br />stand which they have donated to the Community Room: <br />Firemen's Dependent's Fund <br />Mr. Flynn said their Organizational Meeting was March 12. Mr. Flynn was <br />elected Chairman and Mr. Jamieson was elected Secretary. There was no other <br />business. Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mrs. Bloom reported they.met last month. <br />Mr. Boyle was their guest speaker who discussed Collective Bargaining. <br />Their meetings will now be held every other month. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Goley said M.A.R.C. would like to have two delegates and two <br />alternates from the Village. <br />Mayor Carmen said he has a_sked our Recreation Director, Joyce Etzler, to <br />check with the Recreation Committee to see who wants to serve on M.A.R.C. He <br />will advise M.A.R.C. as soon as he hears from Mrs. Etzler. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said they met March 5th and reviewed the <br />local business district sign ordinance. They will be reviewing sign ordinances <br />for the industr.ial park and residential areas. <br />Safety and Service - Mr. Basile said they met March 12. Mr. Amendola was asked <br />to prioritize his requests. <br />Recreation - Mrs. Bloom said Softball Registration is March 26 from 7- 9 p.m. <br />in the Community Room. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />I <br />Ordinance 84-14, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 1153.02(g) AND <br />1173.03(a)(1)(C), OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />SO AS TO PROHIBIT EATING ESTABLISHMENTS WITH DRIVE-THRU WINDOW SERVICE, <br />Ordinance 84-14 was given second reading. <br />SUBMITTING THE SAME TO THE ELECTORS OF THE MUNICIPALITY AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY," Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole.
