51 <br /> <br /> <br />Safety and Service - Mr. Basile reported they met with Chief Hejcl. The <br />committee recommended the.purchase of turn-out coats requested by Chief <br />Hejcl to be referred to Mayor Carmen. Advertising for bids on the fire <br />engine were discussed. The Chief requested officers be designated in the <br />Fire Department,,and that new equipment application forms be adopted <br />because the present forms provide only minimal information. <br />Mr. Etzler said the purchase requisition for the turn-out coats was just <br />given to him, in the amount of $2.,646.00. Since it is 3ust over the amount <br />the Mayor is,authorized to spend, a motion by Council is necessary to <br />approve it. <br />Roll Call.: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />I <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD.REPORTS <br />Motion Carried <br />Approval. Signs will be posted 24 <br />hours in advance.to inform the residents when their area will be done. <br />Mr. Toth sa.id the.girls in the Finance Department are working on a procedure <br />manual and complimented them on the good job they are doing. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Timing of Lights at Aintree and SOM - Mr. Hovancsek, said Sgt. Jay met <br />with the Signal Company representative to discuss chang3.ng the timing of <br />the lights. Neither he or Chief 5tevens knew whethez this..had been done <br />but will report at the next Council Meeting. <br />Cotton Storm.Sewer Problem - Mr. Ameridola said there are two fences with no <br />gates on their property which must come down in order for the job.to be done <br />wel.l. <br />Mr. Feneli asked that nothing be authorized until he is able to check the <br />copy of the settlement agreement to make sure there is no problem. <br />Ordinance 84-14,-entitled; "AN ORDINANCE.AMENDING.SECTIONS 1153.02(g) AND <br />1173.03(a)(1)(C),.OF THE.CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, SO <br />AS TO PROHIBIT EATING ESTABLISHMENTS WITH DRIVE-THRU WINDOW SERVICE, <br />SUBMITTING THE SAME TO THE ELECTORS OF THE MUNICIPALITY AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY."
