They discussed the <br />expenditures as they.currently stand in each department. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils: Mrs..Bloom said they w3.11 be meeting next <br />Wednesday. <br />M.A.R.C.: Mr. Goley had no report. <br />Planning and.Zoning: Mr. Basile.said the commission met October l. They <br />recommended to Council the passage of Ordinances 84-10, 84-12,.and 84-13. <br />Recreation: Mrs. Bloom said the.Five Mile Race tliat the Vil.lage,had in <br />cooperation with Tony Roma's was a success. The Halloween Party is scheduled <br />for Sunday, October 28 at 2 p.m. at Center School.'They will be serving <br />cider and doughnuts. There will probably be a pumpkin hunt. A Square Dance <br />is planned for November 16. <br />Safety and Service: Mr. Basile said the committee met September 17. They <br />discussed the.ISO Standards ancl Mayfield Village's ISO Classification. They <br />also discussed the central dispatch concept for fire depaztments. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Dust Control--Panzica Site:, Mayor Carmen said he met with Mr. Panzica last <br />week. Mr. Panzica had received the Mayor's letter asking him to oil the <br />road and put in.a slag driveway. He felt.the cost would be excessive, and it <br />would only be a matter of a week before he.would be finished with the phase <br />causing the dirt. He askediif the Village could wait a week to see if the <br />problem quieted down. <br />Nlayor Carmen agreed, but told Mr. Panzica he wanted to see results within <br />a week. <br />Cotton Sewer_Problem: Mr. Amendola said the problem has been corrected and <br />explained how it was done. <br />Dirt Mounding--Aintree North: Mayor Carmen said he met with the Avenis last <br />Wednesday regarding this problem. They agreed to remove the mounds and restore <br />the site to its.original state iri the very near future. <br />Ordinance 84-10, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1173.04(a) OF THE <br />CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, SUBMITTING THE SAME TO THE <br />ELECTORS OF THE MiJNICIPALITY AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by <br />Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. (Given first reading 2/20/84) <br />Ordinance 84-10 was given second reading.
