10 1/18/88 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />Page 6 <br />Mr. Petschauer, seconded by Mrse Mills, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. <br />88-4. <br />.. . . , <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />F.irst-Reading of Ordinance"No:-88=5, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING. THE <br />POSITION OF RECREA'2ION COORDINATOR FOR MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, REPEALING ALL <br />ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced liy <br />Mayor Fred N. Carmen. <br />Mr. Petschauer, seconded by Mr. Santoro, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Rules Suspended <br />Mr0 Petschauer, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. <br />88-5. <br />Mayor Carmen explained that no term was mentioned in the present legislation. <br />He said that this legislation includes a two-year term and re-appointment in <br />January. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Ordinance Enacted <br />First-Reading-of Ordinance-No. 88-6, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE ENACTING SECTIONS <br />763.03 AND 763.99 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO <br />PERTAINING TO NOTIFICATION OF USE OF PESTICIDES AND DECLARING AN ENIERGENCY.." <br />Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Wholee <br />Council agreed to discuss Ordinance No..88-6 at the next Council Caucus. <br />Resolution No. 88=1, entitled; "A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO CLARENCE <br />BAKTON." Intoduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole, <br />Mr. Basile, secorided by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 88-1. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Resolution Adopted <br />Mr. Basile stated that since the "Open Portion" was not held at the beginning <br />of the meeting, that he would like to hold it at this time. <br />OPEN PORTION <br />Mr Ale Scaccia, 469-'SOM Center Road, said that he would like to return <br />something to Council that was giyen to him. He said that it said that he had <br />other pressing matters. He said that he would like true statements. <br />Mrs Basile asked what Mr. Scaccia was referring to. <br />Mr. Scaccia said that he was referring to the Resolution Council sent him. He <br />said that anyone that was on Recreation knows that he started the Santa Claus <br />bit and that he-would always do it. He said if Council would have let him <br />know enough ahead of time, he still would have a had a good Christmase <br />?- <br />? <br />L, <br />r_?
