<br /> <br />1/18/88 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />Page 7 <br />ANY"OTHER,MATTEK THAT MAY,COME BEFORE COUNCIL <br />Mayor Carmen said that Council received Resolution 88-2 regarding the heating <br />and air conditioning system for the Community Room. He said that the Village <br />will be receiving $10,000 from block grant funds for this projecte He said <br />that the Village must use the monies by March so that it does not lose them. <br />He explained that this system will replace the large overhead heating <br />apparatus which is very noisy, and that it will include an air conditioning <br />system (which we do not have presently.) Mayor Carmen suggested that Council <br />consider the legislation this evening. <br />Mr. "Flynn, seconded by Mre Petschauer, made a motion to amend the agenda to <br />include Resolution No. 88-2. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Agenda Amended <br />First-'Reading -of- Resolution Noe 88=2, entitled; "A RESOLUTION DECLARING <br />NORTHEASTERN REFRIGERATION CORPORATION TO BE THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR <br />THE INSTALLATION OF AN HVAC SYSTEM FOR THE MAYFIELD VILLAGE SENIOR CENTER AND <br />COMMUNITY ROOM, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO EXECUTE A <br />CONTRACT WITH SAID BIDDER, REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Petschauer, seconded by Mr. Santoro, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Petschauer, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. <br />88-2. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />11 <br />Mr. Petschauer said that the property owner on the south side of Wilson Mills <br />Road east of Rt. 91 is plowing snow from their drive onto the sidewalk. He - <br />asked Mr. Amendola to check into this problem. <br />Mr. Petschauer said that the Carr residence on Thornapple is experiencing <br />problems with a"lake" in their front yard. He asked Mr. Amendola and Mr. <br />Hovancsek is they could look at the problem and help them oute <br />There being no further business, Mr. Petsch'auer, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made <br />a motion to adjourn. , <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />The meeting adjourned at 8:38 p.me
